Sophie has been dancing for 12 years and has trained all over North America. She started dance at four years old at GP Dancer’s Academy and moved to Diverse Dance Company at age 12. She has attended competitions all over Alberta including multiple Nuvo conventions, two of those qualifying her for The Dance Awards in Las Vegas. She has won many scholarships and titles at different competitions including 1st place overall teen soloist at Northern Force Dance Challenge. She has trained in RAD ballet and has completed all examinations up until Advanced Foundation. She has also trained extensively in jazz, tap, pointe, musical theatre, modern, contemporary and lyrical. She has spent many summers at camps and workshops, Camp Protégé, Alberta Ballet and Joshua Beamish summer intensive to name a few. She has a passion for teaching and has been assisting since she was eleven. She is looking forward to the 2022/23 season and working with the next generation of dancers!
